Buxton play area in line for £70,000 makeover
High Peak Borough Council and the Friends of the Pavilion Gardens are holding a consultation event on Wednesday March 16 in the café area near the main doors at the Gardens between 1pm and 5pm, when the designs submitted by play companies will be on display.
Successful partnership working with the Friends of Pavilion Gardens has enabled the council to secure £50,000 from the SITA Trust to refurbish the play area in the Pavilion Gardens.

A spokesperson for High Peak Borough Council said: “The play area is aimed at children up to the age of six, so we are especially keen to hear what children and parents think of the proposals before we go ahead and start work, so pop in and tell us what you think.”
