The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) began with four young men from the North West back in 1971, gradually transforming and growing into the organisation it is today, campaigning for real ale, pubs and consumer rights across the country.
All of the pubs pictured below feature in CAMRA’s latest Good Beer Guide, which is a guidebook to pubs serving real ales across the UK, with listings based on evaluations by CAMRA members.
But we know there are also lots of other fabulous pubs in our area. Which is your favourite?
