Fairfield stabbing: 26-year-old Buxton man arrested for attempted murder

Derbyshire Police officers were called to Fairfield Road, Buxton, just after 12.15pm on Thursday, July 9, to reports that a man had been injured in an altercation.
The 28-year-old, from Buxton was found with a stab wound and taken to Manchester Royal Hospital for treatment to his injuries, where he remains recovering from his injuries.

Hide AdA 26-year-old man, who is also from Buxton, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Liverpool, yesterday evening, July 11, and remains in custody.
A spokesman from Derbyshire Constabulary said: “Detectives remain keen to speak to anyone who was in the Fairfield Road and Victoria Park Road areas at around 12.15pm on Thursday, July 9.
“Of particular interest are any drivers who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time of incident or any homeowners or businesses who may have CCTV that shows these areas.”
