Man who absconded from Derbyshire prison arrested

A man who absconded from a Derbyshire prison has been arrested.

Christopher Dunne had failed to return to HMP Sudbury after day release on June 16.

But he handed himself in at the open prison on Wednesday June 26 and was arrested for escaping lawful custody.

Police thanked everyone who shared the appeal to find him.
