New Mills heroes honoured with awards
Nominees for each category were announced with a series of film clips, before the winners were presented with a New Mills honour award.
The first award of the evening, extra mile, went to the owners of Pride of the Peaks, Shellie Hagan and Kev Goodwin, for their fundraising towards numerous local causes, including the elderly.

The caring heart award was presented to Rachel Monteath, who was recognised for her generous volunteer efforts, including helping with New Mills Women’s Group.
